A 15+ year veteran of the solar & renewables industry, Scott has a deep connection to the natural world and is passionate about technology’s role in helping humans live more sustainably. Scott has had renewables leadership roles with Leyline Renewable Capital, First Solar, Solyndra, groSolar/EDF, Dynamic Energy and General Electric; during this tenure, Scott has earned experience in renewables project development, financing, EPC, and solar module manufacturing & quality. Scott holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, an MBA from Duke University, a GE Six Sigma Black Belt certification, and teaches renewables focused courses at Duke University.

Jesse is responsible for Highline’s corporate strategy, finance and development. Previously, as President of Cratus Energy, Jesse led the origination and development of over 380MW of distributed solar projects in multiple markets. He has over 15 years of experience in solar energy with Alion Energy, First Solar and Turner Renewable Energy. His experience includes US and international project development and new technology development and sales. Jesse holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Garrett is responsible for Highline's market analysis, development efforts, and policy analysis. Prior to working with Highline, Garrett worked as a Policy and Disaster Relief Coordinator with the NC Commission on Volunteerism. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy with a minor in Environmental Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Public Policy degree from Duke University.
